I mean its just a game where you shoot hordes of zombies and you have the option to play with friends. It doesn't look look like its worth $50In B4noobyou have a bad taste in gamesomg l4d loloplolollollo omg hax! Am I the only person not excited for L4D?
Pretty sure I saw this thread already, so no you are not the only one. I am not that excited for it either, but will probably eventually get it.Am I the only person not excited for L4D?
For some reason I lost a lot of intrest in the game literally over night for no reason...
Your one of the few i think man, i personally cant wait to play the demo 2morrow! :)Most anticipated game of the year for me, it looks like it might re-invent coop gaming:)Valve, zombies and coop with friends = Major win for me :D
I am not excited for the game. I have not actually watched any gameplay footage or read about it. Merely heard forum people hyping it. Who knows, maybe it will be like Dead Space, and once I see the reviews for it I will want to play it very badly, maybe..

Some poster here said it was a Turtle Rock game, Valve is surely involved, but the process of creation were given into that company. I just want to know if that is true, or how much of it is true
Valve was helping Turtle Rock before 2008. valve Bought Turtle Rock Early 2008. Valve has been working on it since.

Valve's process - tons of iteration, tons of quality - is injected into the game, just as it was with the ex-Narbacular Drop guys when they made Portal.
I think Valve purchased Turtle Rock so Turtle Rock is Valve! :D
i don't think i would get it even if it ends up in the bidget bin.....
Oh, ok thanks for explaing guys :)So it is in fact a Valve game, good to know... Hope it will be a great game :)
i'm not very excited for it, either. i feel like people are always hyping games with a strong focus on co-op multiplayer and when this much hype is built up for it, I can't help but feel very, very, very skeptical about it (and my instincts were kind of right on an earlier example this year: Army Of Two). i thought that it was about time an online zombie co-op game was headed out way, but the pacing looks out of place and having access to very convenient weapons like assualt rifles and dual pistols just makes this sound awkward. i'm skipping.
I mean its just a game where you shoot hordes of zombies and you have the option to play with friends.
That's exactly why I want it. How many games let you gun down hordes of enemies? Not many, and most don't even do it well. Starship Troopers, Serious Sam, Painkiller. They all suck. The last great kill-the-horde FPS was, interestingly, also the first. Doom (on nightmare)! It's fifteen years since a great game in that particular FPS-subgenre.I love killing things, and most games focus on smaller numbers, maybe three or four enemies at a time at the max. And those games are great, since they have awesome AI or whatever other neat tricks they have, but there's nothing quite like wholesale slaughter. Killing is good. Killing en masse is awesome. And to do it with my friends? MMmmmmmm!
Serious Sam and Painkiller? Suck? :| No way. ESPECIALLY on Serious Sam's case - that game got GOTY from GS for a reason.
I'm with ya buddhalike it may be fun but doing the same scenario over and over again...blehif its mod supported than maybe. with alot of user maps and such.
No, you're not the only one since I'm not excited for it either.
It's a Valve game. Of course there is going to be mods for it. There will be tons of maps made for it not to mention such things like enemy and weapon mods. Also a stupid thing to say ''I've never actually looked at any information concerning the game but it's hyped so I'll skip it'' :| Why don't you try the demo before making ignorant statements.
I am a HUGE shooter fan but I don't see it being worth $50. I am getting it when it drops to $30 maybe but as of now it isn't worth the purchase imo.
The game will have TONS of user made mods and levels, just like Counterstrike Source and TF2.
I'm not even a little bit excited for this one.
