Had the same problem, and didn't wanna deal w/ router set-up and whatnot, so here's what to do: when you get into the server list, DO NOT refresh the list. Just sort by players so you can get a populated server, and pick. You'll have no problem then. I have no idea what that does, or why this way works, but i poked around online and found this to be the best way to go. Hope that helps.
