I am experiencing some major lag during the single player campaign. All of my settings are on mainstream and it is still laggy. My specs are in my sig. I thought that I could run it better because I used the system requirments lab and the yougamers test.Major lag Crysis Warhead
turn off AAMajor lag Crysis Warhead
I dont rly think a GT is a good enough card for Crysis.
What are you guys talking about? I have an 8600GT (256 MB) and I''m running Crysis on all very high except shadows (minimum) and objects and shader (mainstream) at 1024x768 with usually 40+ fps with an occasional dip down to 30.So, what resolution are you playing at? How much ram do you have?

So if u have these on low of course ull have great preformance. You basically took all the features of the game that make it look good, and siad no biggy just play it low.im pretty sure he wants to play on high which is why he is lagging.
Yeah, but he has a graphics card that is several times better than mine. And objects, shaders, and shadows are not what makes Crysis. What makes it in my opinion are the explosions and physics, which looks really good. I could care less about shadows. Object just means less stuff on screen, and all it really means is just a lot of pop ups (like bushes appearing, etc.). I can live with stuff like that. And I don't have those on low. I have those on medium (except shadows which is on low since I don't care about shadows). Big difference man. Learn how to read. And once again, you must not now much about computers or something, but the 8800GT is still loads better than my 8600GT. It should do fine on high. If my 8600GT which is a lot weaker can get all very high, 2 mediums, and 1 low and get 40+ fps on 1024x768, then he should be able to play this on high. Just matters what resolution he is playing at, and unless it's like 1920x1200 he should be able to play on high. Also, it matters how much VRAM he has. Also, I can play on all medium on 1440x900 (my native res) without not much lag (30-35 fps). If he can't do that with a 8800GT then there is something wrong. It might be he has to update drivers.
I dont rly think a GT is a good enough card for Crysis.
No, that's very ignorant and so not true. I used the old 8800GTS 320MB, and I ran the game at gamer settings. An 8800GT should be able to crank some of the settings to Enthusiast.
I siad ''I think'' not I know, but ty for letting me know that i was incorrect. ''The more you know''
I dont rly think a GT is a good enough card for Crysis.
It's very, very close to the GTX, better in some cases.
So is this good or bad performance? I can run all of my other games on high like Mass Effect and COH. The tests I ran said that it was above the recommended set up.

Have you updated drivers?
