I don't follow any competitive gaming but I'm considering getting into competitive CS gaming. I've played CS since beta 1 and I've never joined a clan because I play for fun. With the possibility of pro gaming leagues becoming popular I've been thinking about just giving it a try.
Are there any CS:S competitions or is it all CS 1.6? Who are the best players so I can download some demos and compare my skills to theirs so I know whether or not I'm wasting my time. I know the best CS 1.6 team won entirely with team work and tactics rather than killing skill...which is the way that I play.
Just curious...thanks for any info.
Who are the Best CS:S Players in the World?
do a search on ''counter strike pro'' or something on YouTube and you'll find loads of insane videos of the pros in action. There is one particular video I had in mind but I forget what it's called.Who are the Best CS:S Players in the World?
http://www.caleague.com/That is the league for north america. If you think you're good, get yourself a team together, or join one. Then sign up and see how far you get. You'll probably start in CAL O.
if you havent played in competitive at all, chances are, you are terrible for that purpose, but you can get better with practice and time, and a couple miserable seasons in cal o
No.''Killing skill'', impeccable aim is a GIVEN in any top cs player. The only thing that should part the teams is teamwork and strats.Obviously some players will be better than others at aim and movement, but they are all subtle differences when you get up to the professional level.I've been a competitive CSS player for 4 years and played CS since 1.5, competition for 1.6 and css very strong and easily still the most competitive FPS in the world.I can't tell you who are the best CSS players in the world, as that request is much too general. I can give you an idea of reputable teams and recent winners are though.Reputable CS teams are: SK gaming, Team 3D (now 3D.NY), NiP, Complexity, MiBR, MYM, mousesports, wNv, eSTRO, NoA, fnatic. I've probably missed a few but meh, you get the idea.In the 2007 WCG the winners were team Emulate (France) followed by NoA (Norway). The horrible WCG team seedings put Team Emulate, NoA and my country's (New Zealand) team (Halcyon) together. If they were seeded properly Halcyon would probably have a shot at taking 3rd.Hope seedings for this year is better though.I don't care about any other international tournaments and leagues as WCG is the only one that my country participates in. Also the fact that CPL is a massive failure and many teams have announced they will never play in it again.
CAL doesnt necessarily mean you are pro. This is the website i think you are looking for.http://www.esportsea.com/orhttp://www.thecgs.com/index.php?region=noneCheck those out.
There is no one in this forum who can defeat me in cs:s
