Is this normal? (Witcher Enhanced related)

You will be standing in close proximity to enemies and then just start losing hit points? That isn't particular fair at all. You start losing points being they've even hit you. Maybe there's something up with the animation.Also, the game crashed two or three times today . Is this normal? (Witcher Enhanced related)

well, to be honest i've had zero performance problem with the Enhanced Edition. what were the situations that led to those crashes? during a fight? loading screen? as for losing hit point....well, most likely you were surrounded and you didn't know. also, this might happen when you're fighting against bigger creatures like echinops. it would appear that it couldn't reach you, but in fact it did.

[/QUOTE] It just froze when I clicked on a poster and also when I finished a large fight.Do you need to install the patches for the EE? Cause in the menu the update link is flashing but the patch is like 1GB to DL - I know this is a really stupid question.For the fighting - I was surrounded by Assassins.
it blinks all the time, so i don't think that means anything. in fact, if i'm not mistaken, the that huge download is actually the Enhanced Edition content, which you already have. another thing....there are actually enemies with ranged attack in this game, so that might be why you're losing hit points suddenly. sadly i can't help you with the crashes....but you should try asking around on the official forum.
Sounds like a glitch or you haven't updated properly and the old dvd-check is still stuffing with your version of the witcher ;)

I haven't seen those problems but I did run into an issue where even after learning about herb I was unable to pick them.

Idk, I occassionally notice it on my unenhanced edition. Enemies sometimes sneak a hit in even though the animation doesn't play.
