Best PC Games Nobody Played...

List a PC game that you thought was amazing, that wasn't hyped at all.I'll list Alien Shooter: Vengeance. A Cyberpunk/Alien Horror themed Diablo 2 clone with guns! It has brilliant overhead visuals and insanely low system requirements, and a budget price. I don't get why more people didn't play this. Check it out.I'll also list Divine Divinity, which was overshadowed by other RPG's at the time such as Sacred. But what Divine Divinity does is combine intelligent RPG elements from games like Ultima and Baldurs Gate 2 with a fun Diablo type combat system. It's a really great RPG that still needs playing. Best PC Games Nobody Played...
I LOVE Alien shooter, I was playing this trial version of it, and when I was out of time, I tried every possible way to like, screw around with the ''cookies'' so I could re-download the trial, and then try to get farther.I didn't have the 5 bucks you needed for the game at the time lol.Best PC Games Nobody Played...
I list Undying(PC) and sword of the samurai(PS2), and the worst game nobody played (I had to say this) its definetly shogun's blade, please if you haven't played it(I'm almost certain you didn't) just don't play it, its tooooooooooo bad, its probably the worst game I have played in my life.edit: Sorry I didn't noticed it was only for the PC.
I loved Realms of the Haunting. It did well in reviews but I don't think it sold well. It was right about the time Duke Nukem and Blood were coming out which overshadowed it. It was a damn scary game with one of the best storylines of any game I've played to date.
Disciples II.
Freespace 2SacrificeDungeon Keeper seriesHeavy Gear seriesVampire the MasqueradesChronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher BayX3: Reunion Those are just off the top of my head of little known games that very few played.
Chronicles of riddick was one of the best fps I've ever played, and I've played most of them, it got attention, but near the level it should have compard to other fps.
TRON 2.0
NOLF series
Dremfall

MAFIA. Not sure how many played it, but I love the game and it's held up well.
Chronicles of riddick was awesome.
MAFIA. Not sure how many played it, but I love the game and it's held up well.
agreed mafia, hostile waters x3 and Crysis, since not many people bought it in the US.
agreed mafia, hostile waters x3 and Crysis, since not many people bought it in the US.
CRYSIS??? Please tell me you're joking.

The thread creator asked ''what game is amazing but has no hype at all?'' Crysis probably gets more hype than all other PC games combined.#7 = LOTS of hype.
Yeah, Crysis is the most-hyped PC game as of late.
Oh my bad, it late and i didn't read the topic correctly........crysis is the definition of hype......hidden and dangerous 2, now that was a hardcore game that i loved and no bugger bought it
There is little to no correlation between sales and quality, unless you're talking about extremes (as in, a game is totally aweful)Here's my list (note: I base this on wikipedia's sales list, so games that are never discussed but sold over a million aren't here)Galactic CivilizationsFreelancerMaster of OrionWing Commander (entire series)Jedi AcademySpellforce
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl ~ I'm about 2 hours in and loving every second of it. I don't hear much about this game and was floored when I started playing. For a FPS it is incredibly deep. Whether or not the ''RPG elements'' are considered RPG elements mean nothing, they add a load to the game and make it so much more fun than those stupid, overly linear games that always seem to be so popular. Not only that but for some odd reason the game runs incredibly well on my dated hardware and looks amazing... better than CoD4 and Crysis do... which is odd considering all the problems the game had when it was released.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay ~ Easily one of the best games from last gen... period. Yet another amazing shooter that just gets overlooked for the popular drivel. Combines so much stuff into one game it just doesn't make sense how it could be such an unpopular title. Fighting, stealth, gunplay, simple RPG elements all combined with a fantastic story, setting and characters.

Total War i guess.
UFO Extraterrestrials (X-Com UFO Defense remake) ....... Amazing game, especially now that the modders have made it much more like the classic.
