need for speed carbon runs decently on my computer but it does lag quite a bit in some races. the thing is that it doesn't matter if my graphic settings are set on high or low, the lag is always there. i want to and should be able to run this game flawlessly on the highest settings according to the system requirements on the game and by the tool from this site. you guys have any tips?here are my comp specs:everex stepnote xt5000t laptopnvidia geforce go 7600 with recent driver at 256mbwindows vista home editionamd turion 64x2 1.6ghz processor1gb ddr memoryNFSC (need for speed carbon)
try running the game executable in XP compatability modeNFSC (need for speed carbon)
it is already set for xp compatabilty.
update your drivers and such

Did you try installing game patches/upgrades?
i got the same notebook and the same problems with fallout 3 and oblivion cod4 i turn the grapics all the way down or all the way up it dont matter it still lags in places............if u fix this plz tell me
